This is a versatile position that can be further developed and expanded at your discretion after an introductory period. Depending on your experience, you will perform the following duties:<\/p>\n\n<p>Commercial administrative<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Process information flow and reservation requests via email<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide information to customers via telephone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide information to customers at our office Oudegracht 175W<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparing, sending and documenting offers and confirmations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Planning and organizing boat trips through SEM (Smart Event Manager )<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit orders to suppliers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with part accounting (billing and cashiering) etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scanning incoming documents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any other common work related to the position.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Personnel Administration<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Scheduling and arrangement of skippers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintaining time records skipper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Directing the barge crew at departure jetty<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Catering<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Preparing catering for the boat trips<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Processing incoming orders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If necessary, assist skippers with boarding and un-catering the boats<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>General<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Replacing management during absences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>( pre ) Sailing on our passenger ships, tour boats and salon boat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Checking boats at night storage ( Hooghiemstra and moorings in the canal )<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keeping an overview of the departing and arriving boats at the jetty on the Oudegracht.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working a Saturday shift at least every other week<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintaining contacts with business partners (including Tourism Utrecht and package holders)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Job requirements<\/p>\n\n<p>You:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have a flexible attitude,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Can work accurately and accurately,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are able to maintain an overview in a chaotic environment and when busy and can switch tasks easily without losing your accuracy and friendliness,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enjoys thinking with customers and is able to speak to them in a friendly and clear manner,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enjoys dealing with people,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have commercial acumen, are enthusiastic, assertive and driven and enjoy winning orders without losing your individuality,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Can work independently after an introductory period,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are able to schedule and keep track of your own hours (no 9 to 5 mentality)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>May supervise an assistant employee\/trainee and the barge crew,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have at least basic knowledge of e-mail programs, MS Word and MS Excel and Outlook and have good command of the Internet and user-friendly reservation systems,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have an affinity with water sports and boating as well as an interest in the hospitality industry, attractions, wedding locations, etc. in Utrecht,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in the Dutch language both verbally and in writing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mastered at least basic English in word and writing,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are resident in Utrecht.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Pre<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>familiar with restaurants, wedding venues, attractions and landmarks in the center of Utrecht,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in boating, and willing to obtain at least your Boating License (VB1 ).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Related tourism education or experience within a commercial company,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are not smoking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>What do we offer?<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A varied position within a fun leisure company;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A fun working environment in a historic wharf cellar in the heart of Utrecht;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The opportunity to learn new things and take responsibility;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a seasonal contract;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a competitive salary;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A pleasant collaboration with colleagues,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>flexibility in scheduling;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Operations Manager For the new sailing season, we are looking for an operations manager who will be responsible for day-to-day operational activities.
